The Looms of Fate is a diptych sculpture that materializes the fundamental mechanism of technological evolution. Each loom is anchored by a spiral of stone age tools, cast in aged concrete to evoke the stratified geology of an ancient time. At the heart of this spiral rests a humble wooden wagon wheel, the crucial innovation that granted humanity leverage over distance and scale.

The work suggests that progress is not a line, but a woven tapestry. These are the looms that spin the coarse thread of primal necessity into the intricate patterns of flight, computation, and artificial intelligence, weaving the continuous fabric of expanded human consciousness.
