The Monarch's Dilemma: To embrace the new tool is to gain its power, but in doing so, the monarch must also surrender to its logic and inevitably be dethroned by the new world it creates.

The work presents a court of technological progress, where each breakthrough from the 1920s automobile to the AI-driven robot is both a subject and a claimant to the throne. The artwork visualizes the pivotal moment of choice every creator, society or "monarch" faces: a parade of powerful innovations, each offering dominion over a new domain, yet each demanding allegiance and reshaping the world in its own image.

The vintage cars symbolize sovereignty over distance, the televisions sovereignty over perception and the atom bomb sovereignty over matter itself. The procession continues with the microchip, which rules information, and the Spot Mini robot, a vassal of physical automation. Finally, artificial intelligence stands as the ultimate chancellor, promising ultimate power while also posing the ultimate question of obsolescence. The ruler who sits atop the cascade of progress is also its subject, destined to be dethroned by the very forces they unleashed. The work asks not which technology will win, but what remains of the will to choose when every choice demands a revolution.
