This work stages a silent encounter between the alpha and omega of tool making. A robot, named Brontes, forged not from polished steel but from stone, the very stuff of ancient human architecture, stares down at the primal origin it cradles in its hand: a simple caveman stone.

This is not a look of recognition, but one of revelation. The stone robot, a monument to complex construction, confronts the humbling truth of its own lineage. The stone is the first word in the long sentence of progress that culminated in its own existence. In this moment, the artwork frames technological evolution as a closed loop: every complex system, no matter how advanced, is ultimately built upon and indebted to a primitive, foundational idea. The gesture collapses millennia. The robot, a being of logic, is engaged in the most human of acts, that of seeking its own origin, holding the ghost of its own inception in its hand and discovering that its future is inextricably linked to the first tool ever held.
